We had a wonderful evening with outstanding food and excellent service. All of the staff were so kind and attentive from the moment we walked in the door. An all around great dining experience!

The beau and I accompanied my mom for a Mother's Day dinner and we had a lovely time. It was quite busy for a Sunday evening and the service sputtered to a start but once they caught up it was fine. At least our server gave us an immediate heads up that the kitchen was running behind which I did appreciate. The food is top notch. Our salad was fresh and pleasantly acidic. The crab crostini and lamb meatball sliders were excellent. Mom splurged on the scallops and we all agreed they were the best dish on the table. The beau and I split the tortelloni Verdi and while enjoyable, I thought the smoked ricotta was overwhelming to the dish. We finished up with the panna cotta and their version of tiramisu. Both were nice but the tiramisu was a bit heavy on the cream for us. Love the vibe here. A great bar and open kitchen make it feel lively and hip.

I loved everything about Locanda Verde, minus the small portion sizes. I can deal with damn near anything the universe throws at me but small portion sizes. I truly am god's strongest soldier. I've lived in New York long enough to be conditioned to pay between $25-$40 for a plate of pasta and not bat an eye, but when the Grandmother's Ravioli ($33) and Rigatoni ($36) came I immediately knew I would have to go home and make myself a 2nd dinner. These small plates of pasta were on brand with the tiny lamb sliders ($16) and steak tartare ($29) we got for appetizers... "What is this.. a dinner for ants?!" This being said, the quality of everything was HIGH level. Phenomenal. Sensational. Legitimately some of the best pasta I've had in the city. That Steak Tartare went NUTS too. Bite for bite, I'm putting Locanda Verde up against all the heavyweights... you just don't get that many bites ahahaha. My buddy's girlfriend always chirps me because she actually prefers small portion sizes when going out to eat. My soul has never disagreed with something so vehemently, but it is good to know somebody else's perspective on life can be so drastically different than mine. Kind of cool, honestly. Civil discourse is so important to push society forward and live in harmony with one another. I will absolutely be back, but will have a big snack session before my next visit. I also need to get to Tribeca more. It is like what Soho used to be before Soho became Times Square... IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

This is a great find for brunch! The staff runs like a well oiled machine. The food is pleasing to the eye, fresh, hot, and delicious. There are several sections of seating within the restaurant (plenty of seating). Inside the restaurant has a rustic and upscale look and feel. A urban Italian comfortable scence. There's a banquet room available for parties. I could hear the music pumping and bumping while dining (a great vibe). If you're ever in the neighborhood. GET SOME!!!!

Came on the New Year for dinner with an old friend and my sister whose in town for the week. we wanted a solid italian spot in tribecca to explore the neighborhood and decided on this spot we started with the brussel sprouts and focaccia bread - both super solid. loved the brussels - especially with the mini apple pieces it was delicious. the focaccia bread was fine could have done without it for main i got the mushroom agnolotti - came with truffle, parmesian, mushrooms, and chives. this was shockingly very delicious - i had low expectations just because frankly my italian expectations are always low as its not my fav cuisine but it was a solid pasta dish. lots of flavor and very creamy! only reason im giving 4 stars is because the prices are a bit unreasonably high - otherwise i recommend

Company had a private party here. The back room is rustic with a gorgeous stone fireplace next to a real Christmas tree. I definitely went to smell it to make sure. After hours of passed hors d'ourves and a tower of shrimp, lobster, and oysters with a mignonette, things served on crostini and cucumber, and lamb meatballs, we sat down to a family style meal of lamb lamb sliders, lamb bolognese, lamb chops, and the strongest tasting sheep's milk cheese I've ever encountered. I was pleasantly surprised by the sorbet, which tasted like pomelo. The flourless chocolate cake was dense and rich, like warm fudge. The pumpkin ice cream was ok, but that's only because I hate nutmeg. This place is tasty. My favorites were the beet salad with goat cheese and figs. Where are figs in season? My fig tree toppled over this summer as a strong wind blasted over my hill, demolishing our shared fence. I convinced a coworker to try figs for the first time. I think he was pleasantly surprised, but the task of trying more new foods this evening was off the table. The bartenders were great. The tall one with the curls, led us toward drinks that weren't too sweet. Plus, I was totally over alcohol at this point of the week, so I had the effervescent chamomile highball--perfectly tall, festive, and refreshing.

I came to Locanda Verde a few weeks ago to try the pasta and wasnt disappointed. I had two pasta dishes, a pappardelle and a lumache dish. It was a pretty busy night and grabbed a seat at the bar. The servers did a great job informing me that ordering two pasta dishes would take more time considering how busy the kitchen was that night. Both dishes tasted good and didi the job of keeping my interest. Definitely would go back.

FOOD - wow amazing mushroom agnolotti - the best dish, filling wasn't too heavy and overall opposite of dry which I loved. loved the mushroom taste in it too, v strong spaghetti alla gricia - this wanp good but at times got a little too salty chittara frutti di mare - seafood was fresh PRICE - normal but portions slightly smaller SERVICE - our waitress was super rude to us when I tried to ask a question, but other than that everyone else was super nice AMBIANCE - fancy dark big

Popped in for lunch and was pretty happy with my experience. I absolutely LOVED and I mean LOVED their cacio e pepe scone. Inventive, flavorful and fun. Totally delicious. I made a mistake when ordering the porchetta sandwich. I should have looked up that meat before ordering because I found it very fatty which is apparently a feature of this meat. It was totally packed with meat but it did pair well with the cheese and onions. The side salad was nice too. I also opted for a pistachio gelato that was so yummy and decadent. Super happy I ordered it. The interior is quite grand and the whole establishment definitely has a sophisticated air about it. Definitely a good place to put on a nice dress for dinner. Service was top notch. My water never got low and my server was super friendly and knowledgeable. 4.4/5
